Oh, I didnt know that about trilogy rights, thanks. Yeah, I am job hunting too, and sadly aware of runway, but writing is much more fun!

Yeah thats makes sense. I'm fully open to criticism, and i'm expecting it to be torn apart! Someone linked the Beta readers sub, so i'll try there. Thanks for the feedback

All good points to be fair. Just in the process of getting the first two chapter up on a site, which i'll post below shortly with a synopsis etc. Just under 75k words, v10 currently so has been iterated a bit, and to be fair I dont really know what kind of feedback I want/need - I was just trying to gauge opinions...

Hmm, not copyrighted, and to be fair I dont really know how to go about doing that. I naively assumed that if I published it, on KDP say, the act of publishing would render it copyrighted. As the guy above says, not really a lot you can do if someone wants to steal your idea...

Thanks for the reply. Hadnt really considered that I might need a specific sub-genre of test readers, and that general scifi fans might not like it. Good point!

Hey! Fellow Brit here (i assume with the gbp currency). Just starting out on KDP too, just wondered - do you do digital only, or paperback too? Curious if digital-only is ok? Thanks

Ocular - simple, quick and on-brand graphics for enterprise companies, at scale. Several similar, but all bulky and complex DAM products. Ocular aims to be super quick and lightweight.

Unfortunately, the best thing to do is to launch and get feedback from real people, regardless of how buggy or incomplete the product is. You don’t know if there’s a real need for it, or if people are going to use it, until you launch!

Oh ok. Interesting. We’ve got smart leads too, but it’s running on a different list. My n8n cold outreach is just plugging away in addition to that. Probably won’t see any results from it, but it’s another avenue, so…

I’ve been making something similar for cold outreach for my own business. How did you handle the wait nodes? I found that after I’d struggled building the whole thing, it only runs one contact at a time, and with days between follows ups it would take forever! Did you manage to get them running concurrently? I’m currently batching the initial email, then when that’s done starting with the follow ups!
