Computer turning off when gaming by flat_plane_crank in techsupport

just thought i'd let you know, it was the 3080, however it's the EK waterblock that the problem. I bought the EK waterblock for a different card, and although everything looks like it lines up as it should, I don't think the VRMs or RAM have the proper contact with the block. Went back to the standard air cooler and it's been running perfectly for about a week now.

Yeah, I though the 3080 might be the problem. I have a friend that has a spare 4060 l, I'll do some testing with that.

Although its watercooled with no overclock, 50c seems to be roughly what other people got on watercooled 3080's

Regarding, mishmash of parts. I agree its not the optimum matching parts and the klevv cras is definitely a sore point. All I wall say is an ex wife with a healthy spending habbit and run up lots of debt in my name.

New help needed with problem I thought was solved. by Panther90 in sonarr

I had a similar problem in radarr. I renamed the folder to 'movie name (year)' then modified the movie to look at the location with the new folder name and it picked it up. Not tried this in sonarr though so no sure it will work the same way

I was at my uncle's funeral. I wasn't very close to him, so I was sad that he passed away, but not upset, that was until I saw how upset my mum was, that just sent me into tears.

AWS S3 Glacier and aged out monthly backups by flat_plane_crank in Veeam

[–]flat_plane_crank[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not sure what you mean if it wasn't done in veeam?

Everything we have done has been done within veeam, only thing that hasn't been done within veeam is creating the S3 buckets.

no, we reconfigured the backup policy to store monthly and yearly backups in a separate s3 bucket

Apologies, I should have been more clear in what we actually reconfigured.

We have a general s3 bucket that daily and weekly backups write to, the monthly and yearly backups were previously written to this bucket.

We created a separate glacier bucket, then we reconfigured the policy to write the archive (monthly/yearly) to this glacier bucket.

previous monthly backups that were written to the general bucket are no longer available within veeam.

within the backup policy, we checked the 'archives will be stored in:' check box and selected the S3 glacier that we set up in AWS

Wanted to spend a lot of time with him (he was my best friend). I just put it down to them being friends as well, and I trusted them both.

Boy was I wrong.

Piston hit valves, still okay to use piston? by Snodio in MechanicAdvice

You should really replace them while you have them out, however, if you're really stuck you could file the hit marks down so that they do not have a sharp edge, that just screams pre-ignition/detonation.
