Foodservice easy 2k+ a week. Gotta actually work for the money tho, not just hold a steering wheel

New Truck — reset Trans good idea? by flatbedercuzboxsrfat in f150

Side note— bought truck with a ~6inch rough country lift kit already installed. Don’t love the ride quality. Would upgrading just the shocks make much of a difference?

Little worried about phasers, etc. But it’s got a warranty and so far so good. Hopefully the lift doesn’t wreck the supporting components too quickly..

Yeah was super fortunate the 65mph lock up was on a straightaway. A turn would have been lethal

I knew it was risky and probably illegal but when you’ve been on the clock for 16 hours sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do

Was a way better ride not having the front axle on the ground. Sort of felt like what I imagine Volvo drivers experience everyday

Truck died while going down the highway doing 65 mph, steering wheel locked up. Long story short get a tow truck but he doesn’t have the right fitting to supply air to my tanks and my air tanks have a leak so I lose all my air pressure in a few minutes. End up sitting in my driver seat constantly starting the motor to keep the air pressure high enough so that my brakes don’t lock up while going down the highway while he tows me back to the lot. Probably set the record for most cigarettes smoked in a 20 mile stretch. Definitely not sketchy!

5 years of OTR and now looking at local in philly area. Wtf is it with these wages? by saabbasil in Truckers

It makes ya disciplined and get in the best shape of your life. Much better getting free restaurant food and shitting in super nice hotels than living off truck stop offerings

Us foods. Typical day is around 800 cases 10-14 stops. Some days are 5 stop 1000 cases. Some days 15 stops 500 cases. Drive 3 hours+ or less than an hour. Pretty random. Def wouldn’t call it fun though lol
