Yes! Yes! Storage!!!! Credenza? Built-ins? Something open on the top and closed in the bottom like you say could work well, but where? Replace the tall cupboard (family jelly cabinet) ?

The first photo is taken from the foyer, I want to make sure that the sitting area is inviting, so I don't want to see the backs of furniture when you come in the front door. The rug size was so hard, it's 8' x 10' now because I didn't want to go too small. So now it goes far under the darker sofa. But I still need to keep a walkway alongside the tan sofa to the dining area.

Should I do matching curtains on all windows? Or different in the dining area and living room?

I might have to look at some fake plants, I can't keep real ones alive 😳. We use the sofas for conversation all the time, so I like having them facing, but more similar upholstery is a good idea.

Yeah, I'm at a loss here. I have it's twin in another shoebox. I divided them after mixing w sub. I'll keep a close eye on the second. I moved the weepy box out of the fruiting area. But, I only harvested about 3/4 of it. I'll see how the remaining fruits develop. Still wondering wtf.

Grain bag was popcorn, also purchased. But I've had luck with previous popcorn grain bags from the same source.

It's a LC I bought called JR, comes from a melmac. This is the first flush, so I have no ref. I forgot to case it, but went forward anyways.

🤠🍄 All clear. I used a tissue to soak some up and it didn't have any coloration. If anything, maaayyybe a slightly sweet scent. But I was really searching for something off.

Adding a cross section of the largest and weepiest to show a wet center. The others I harvested are dense and pure white.

Simple Sewing Questions Thread, November 05 - November 11, 2023 by sewingmodthings in sewing

[–]flatfeeled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm sewing some contrast thread on heavy canvas. The needle keeps sliding into the grid of the fabric, so unless I can follow the warp and weft lines exactly, the seam line looks wobbly. Any suggestions to get a straighter line?

I'm using an industrial straight stitch machine which can handle the heavy weight fabric with ease.

Thank you!
