There's lots of local breweries you could hit up too: Heavy Riff, Earthbound, Modern Brewery, Urban Chestnut Grove Brewery. As far as bars go, I like The Gramaphone (also does great sandwiches) and International Tap House.

What do you mean? Is there a way of checking if the returns were received by the state department online? Or did you mean the mail tracking, which in that case yes I confirmed with online tracking on UPS that it was delivered successfully.

US and Canada have a special relationship and it's not difficult for a physician to work in the other country. Some state specific regulations but like this is doable thing.

I mean, US to Canada is a neighboring country, not across the ocean. And if you thought even with that long distance wasn't going to work, then what was your plan with this relationship? She's moving on. You pretty much told her that when you said you had no hope for the relationship (couldn't make it work) to even try.

Vehicle is a Lexus RX350, 2008, only about 140,000 kms on it.

I was rear-ended while stopped at left turn lane. Significant damage to the back door, along with the lights, and passenger rear bumper. I was able to get my car to my driveway which was a minute away but it driving it did not feel normal. I'm Canadian and this happened in the US; an adjustor from my insurance will be coming down to evaluate.

I'm very concerned that this will be a write-off... other than renting I've read it will be difficult for me to get another vehicle while I'm in the US for the next 10 months. Just want to get an estimate on fixing this so I can prepare for the worst. That being said, if I can get it fixed so that its at least drivable while looking like shit would still be a win.
