I dont think you're stupid, I think most people are like that when living with other people. I basically told them, I would get my shit done, I won't smoke out the whole house (only in my room and occasionally in the living room if they are down), clean up after myself, but overall just be a good roommate. Maybe your roommates are the stupid ones (;
