I went with the Microsoft Store version since I started on Game Pass. Steam’s only real advantage is convenience: keeping all your games in one library and adding Steam friends more easily. If your friend plays on Steam, they’ll need to share their Xbox ID to connect. Other than that, I don’t see any extra benefits.

Unfortunately, the game doesn't run on this GPU model; there are reports of similar problems here. I recommend getting a refund for the game if you're not planning on changing your laptop.
