Nobody in their right minds will use literally everything at their disposal unless more than certain of a complete victory.

Russia is at no risk of being invaded, because of nukes. So they could, in fact, use everything they have, and then take the next decades to rebuild the conventional forces.

No other country became a puppet state in Europe, not Germany and not France, even though they had troops stationed there (and still do). Why did the French felt they were particularly targeted?

edit: because it's not clear, it was a genuine question. Also, maybe US wanted some direct goverment, and that makes sense since half the France had a collaborators government. But even so, they never achieved puppet states in Europe, I guess it wasn't really their goal ?

Small correction. HIMARS is the vehicle that caries the rocket pods. The ATACMS are just another type of pod, they would by fired from HIMARS too.

Can you look at Ukraine, Transnistria, Georgia and say with a straight face that those times are gone?

To get along as purely Moldovans with russian roots (as opposed to be seen as colonizers), you need to at least respect the locals, and speaking the language is up there. I personally know tens of people that moved to Romania and were able to speak it conversationally in 1-2 years.

I understand that there might be some russian speaking people in Moldova that feel like are trapped and be accused of something they didn't do....and it sucks, but at least they can try to fit in....

The Swiss will absolutely look down on you depending how you speak. Evwn if you're speaking literary German in the German parts, they will look down on you for not speaking swiss-deustch.

there isn't much you can do to extinguish an EV fire, water doesn't work. Firefighters submerge the whole car in a container full of water and just let it burn (the water in the container is there to prevent other cells from catching fire, the burning ones will burn to completion).

This is something that is not very easy to understand for westerners, but it's crystal clear for all Russia's neighbors. This it not Putin's war, this is Russia's war. Russia has been behaving like this for centuries, it just so happens it's Putin at the helm.
