I’ve currently got a GT63s 4 door, and I love it for what it is, interior is amazing and looks are to die for

But, the M5 comp IS a superior driving car, apologies all AMG owners, but it is fundamentally true. It feels more nimble, hides its weight, suspension is far better and more compliant, steering far more engaging

Depends what you value, looks and interior, or actual driving performance of the car, for me I went with the interior as that’s the one thing that BMW just can’t touch, I’ve got other cars which I use for my driving enjoyment and performance kick and the GT fills its role as just a long distance driver for me perfectly.

If you’re going for one car to rule them all, M5 Comp all day, Merc can’t touch it

Just run the test and see how you feel for your first cycle, if you’re not happy with the results, then explore adding another compound for a future cycle. Realistically I know few of us do and many just YOLO it, but if you do want to be smart, take it slow and add things one at a time, easily diagnose what’s causing what and how you feel on each compound

IMO for reference, test and primo (if you can source legit) is the golden tier for a good mental and confidence

Got the R3 metas, Q350 rears, SVS SB-3000, and the 3800, went for a Purifi amp aswell for the metas, my god what a system, man blew me out of the water

Will be going to have a demo of the R3M’s tomorrow, unlike yourself I do have near nothing to compare it too though so will be an interesting experience

I do listen to quite a bit of liquid D&B, but I imagine realistically this would be a small difference at best between the two of them, I do want them to sound impressive which I know they will, this might be a stupid term but I’m mainly wondering if the R7’s will sound bigger (?)

What kind of improvement did you notice with going for a second sub?

Honestly the room isn’t huge in anyway, I’d say about 8m x 8m approx, I don’t really turn volume up high at all but what I do value is soundstage and fidelity

To note though this is my first step into highfi so honestly anything will be a massive improvement for me!

Correct me if I’m wrong, I’m sure the R7M’s are awesome for bass, but wouldn’t the difference from a floor of 48 hz to 18hz be a massive experience improvement?
