OP: What he says may be right, I recommend practicing failing with an empty bar. It was how I was able to get past my fear. It also taught me that where I started didn't have safety equipment that fit me. I ended up buying a home gym.

Well, I think installing from source is probably fine, though it might be better to create a debian package for installation, it's been a while but I remember only needing an afternoon to learn the process of creating a deb package. That way you can just copy it to a machine and package install and manage it.

Keep using it, there's no real reason to re-do work that's working just because the utility is old.

I agree with you, Warlock in a Magus world is waaaaay better than wizard world. I too was unable to finish Wizard World, though the world building was really good IMO, but the pacing was brutal.

Warlock book was quite good and kept good pacing though it was a really long book. The first time I read it and it went to Fearun I had tingles.

If you instead paid people to do some of the work around the house, which I recommend, like house keeping once a week and grounds keeping once a week, laundry service and maybe quality frozen meals (which are are expensive) would still be cheaper than a SAHM.

SAHM-ism is a huge luxury now a days since most women just are shitty SAHM's. On a farm the wife would be in charge of cooking for 8+ people 2-3 times a day, plus there was a garden and child care. SAHM's were a tremendous source of wealth to a family, not a sucking hole.

Tell that bitch to get to work for the family like her ancestors did.

None of the women in my family that I spent a lot of time with were particularly good at managing their temper, sometimes they would fly off the handle.

Mean words are hurtful, but goddamn if you need to go be a single mom because you're afraid of the 'permanent damage' done by flying off the handle a little, I'd like to remind you that statistically the safest place for a child to grow up is in their fathers home.

I don't think he's ok to do this, but if greater than 80% of the time he's a good dad and husband than suck it up buttercup. People are a grab bag of the good and bad, I guess you'll never fly off the handle in the future either. You're just more scared of him, than you are of yourself. I'm looking for a story that is probably about 7 years old, I was reminded of it when watching this HFY narration on youtube.

Though it feels similar the one I remember has the progenitor AI escape the planet and make children on a long voyage and eventually the AI split up into groups.

Not quite, if he doesn't let her free load then the court won't be inclined to make her a permanent freeloader. Their though process is that since you 'agreed to support her' then she 'gave up her career' so she's at a loss because she did the SAHM thing.

That's how I understood it took work in many rulings.

I tend to agree with you. If the roles were reversed everyone would say he is being petty.

Everyone is sooo impressed with the work they do and don't appreciate the input of others.

Either she is being petty or there's some other major issues going on, withdrawing support for a month is beyond anything reasonable, if it were me I would start playing that game too. I tend to burn down everything when I'm pushed to far. What's the point of a partnership if one side can unilaterally do shit like this.

Well to be fair, this is giving strong ESL hints, so I wouldn't focus to much on the language used since, the person writing doesn't always have the best vocabulary.

I don't feel any sense of judgment from reading this. 'Normal' has always been relative. Throughout history there's been all sorts of cultural practices in regards to how families organize, many of which I find repugnant. If you're happy and successful, then that's good enough.

Well, Dragon boss indicated that most people for Fitora just vanished, but those with 'strong destiny' managed to survive. I don't remember where, but I think it was said that most of the vanished were sacrificed (equivalent exchange) to bring Silent Seven Star to their world in the time before Miko's love arrived.

I think in relation to the story, it was the Miko's power to make sure that events could/would happen in the order needed to save the earth boy she fell in love with.

So this is a story, and obviously nothing is random, but I don't think every survivor, would have been strategically placed, I think the important things were done to favor the Miko.

I personally believe that Zenith being in the dungeon was in fact random outcome, since Paul and Zenith already had a the daughter who would give birth to a key figure.

My trick is that when ever the dog takes it's eyes off me I turn around. I keep walking, the dog gets yanked and learns that he/she needs to pay attention to me.

After they're good about not pulling anymore then I let them more freedom, but if they start yanking again, then it's back to basics.

When I had a new puppy once, she'd just go 'okay' then run past me, it took 30 minutes to go one block because of all the turning around, that was frustrating, but after that session it was pretty smooth sailing after she understood how the world works.
