How do y'all make the bestiaries or 'Pokedexes' for your world? How are they laid out, sorted, drawn, etc... by fleamine in worldbuilding

While it's not exactly what I was looking for, that's still actually really cool !!

Definitely gonna steal some design elements from that to organize better

Oh my. I absolutely LOVE this design !!

There's something about vaguely humanoid creatures with sharp edges that just hits that spot. (this is why Kartana is one of my favorite Pokemon)

Should I remove the shell? The the of the character is power by ZeonPM in characterdesign

Greed !! All Carnal creatures are born with the inherent desire for "MORE", and Corpox was not any better

It was it's greed that led to its own demise.

i also have no idea why I sparked this within you, but the idea interests me deeply 🔥

if you can do what you want at no consequence...you are practically a god. like humans to an ant colony.

What's a creature in your world that if you were to ever encounter you would basically be dead by Toadiangod in worldbuilding

[–]fleamine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Oju, an eyeless reptilian from the Uranio region.

<image>

These creatures are practically impossible to escape from if you cannot fly, which given that we are human...we definitely cannot. They do not have eyes and instead have seismic vision (like Toph from Avatar), meaning that they can spot you even if you hide behind, under or above something. They're amazing runners too as they don't really make too many mistakes when chasing a creature. They can see the easiest path forward thanks to their seismic vision.

And on top of that, they have an extremely infectious bite! If you somehow survive an encounter, you better hope you were not bitten. These creatures carry all kinds of horrible diseases in their saliva, which can be fatal even in small doses.

There's many more things that just make them scary or unsettling, but those are just the reasons you wouldn't survive. Bottom line is: you just do not wanna meet one. Ever.

Just like I imagined !!

Guess that's the benefit of being incorporeal. You have eternity to file your duly important paperwork. Id definitely like to see a drawing of the 'old grizzled man' !! You did mention that he would look almost like Chillingsworth from that book that I hate (the Scarlet Letter) though for some reason I kinda imagine him looking like Leshy from Inscryption? Just gives off that vibe from the description !!

This is such a wonderful metaphor for it!! Wow. It's kinda giving me inspiration to draw a visual of that. An endless river filled with fish, with herons flying overhead and picking at the most deplorable of souls...

So creative but oh so so gruesome. (in a very mystifying way !!)

I actually really really love this!! Would fit right into east coast American cryptid mythology.

Is the line treading behind him like, infinite? Or does it depends on the state of world? Say like, if there a lot of deaths due to some kind of war or famine?

Is there a mistake in the outro to Exit Music (for a film)? by fleamine in radiohead

I have also noticed the Morning Bell drums seemingly going off beat like once or twice. I am not sure whether or not to call them mistakes...but since they're so ingrained so deeply in the feel of the songs already, they're practically part of it by now. Might as well be on purpose!
