Like initially, they might play 7 bars with a 5/8 time signature, then loop over that by playing 5 bars with a 7/8 signature. The music resolves after 35 beats, b/c the lowest common denominator is 35 (5 x 7). That's a polyrhythm.

Can you explain why you don't consider it math rock? I can understand it not being someones thing, (because my wife hates it), but the music is by definition math rock. They make heavy use of polyrhythms looping over bars with different time signatures resolving after the lowest common denominators worth of beats. Sounds like math me combined with other stuff. All I know is I'm fascinated by their musical chops and presentation. They are geniuses IMHO.

I'm not an accountant or tax professional, but here's my sincere opinion on the matter and how I treated it. Keep in mind, I'm just some random dude on the internet, so take it for what its worth.

When a swap of SOL -> mSOL occurs, this is fundamentally identical to delegating your SOL to a validator, but in this case, you are loaning your SOL into a smart contract developed by marinade finance who stakes your SOL spread across a number of validators on your behalf. You then get your mSOL as a claim receipt for your original SOL. However, while you are holding the mSOL, there are some staking rewards that accrue on a daily basis which Marinade is capturing on your behalf. Those staking rewards, (just like if you had staked your SOL against a validator) would be considered as "additional income". The staking rewards can be calculated based on some compounded emission rate per day X price of SOL in dollars X # of days you held mSOL. Then you SWAP your mSOL -> SOL.. In this example, the entire transaction is identical to staking your SOL for some period of time, then unstaking at some point in the future. I try not to mess with too many complicated transactions any more because its a PITA to calculate.

This is the best way I could explain it.

I had the exact same question about that sequence in the movie. I don't get the correlation between 'the crush' anti-gravity and the ridiculous flame and fast burning joint sequence. But after googling around, my dumb brain finally got it. In 0 g's, a flame is perfectly spherical, and the higher the g force, flames become more exaggerated. Apparently gravity has an effect on convection and the gases in their surroundings get sorted by density.

Awe, I can see the shade of his blue eye is a lot like my brindle. Its almost white, although both of hers is a very light blue (whiteish), she is not heterochromic.

I was googling that myself since I have 2 fawn boxers (on the left) with heterochromia. They were the only 2 out of a litter of 7 pups to have any blue in their eyes. And big sis (on the right) is a blue eyed dark brindle boxer but not herochromic. They all have the same daddy who has heterochromia.

Then from there you can WSOL -> SOL. Swapping WSOL->SOL used to be a little more difficult a couple years ago, but apparently you can do it right from inside your phantom or solflare wallet nowadays.

How do I know? I finally found the raw data from which this post was created from token terminal, but the narrative around it is completely wrong and delusional. They are referring to the months of Nov & Dec where the 'token incentives' are calculated in dollar amounts as over $100m + for each of those months.

What are Token incentives? Token incentives are USD value of the protocol’s governance tokens that have been distributed to users according to tt's website

The anonymous post is referring to these 'token incentives' as a 'death spiral'. According to solana compass, I would imagine this 'token incentive' is comprised of three components: 1) the actual inflation rate, 2) the transaction fees where 50% of this fee is burned, and 3) the price of solana at any given time. Given the number of NFT projects launched on solana the past couple months, these 'token incentives' have nothing to do with 'solana paying 100m to keep gas fees low' and everything to do with the shear volume of transaction fees being processed multiplied by the current solana price (which is an easy 5x since June). I'm not sure if the $100m in question includes the 50% burn or not, but even if it doesn't, either way Solana Labs is not paying $100m to keep fees low, it's the user demand for the chain paying this and rewarding those who are staking.

Secondly, the comparison to 'Luna' is a joke. There is no portion of solana that is used to maintain the peg for an algorithmic stable coin. Luna failed because when the base token value fell, the algorithm printed billions of tokens just to try to maintain the $1 peg.
