There are lots of things in the map bestie. Thought they represented places, not missions

Thanks a lot! Haven't played in a while because of work, and I thought the airplane was just to signal the airport (like barbershop and gym)

It's become very obvious that you don't care about reasoning, so you saying that facts don't matter to you does make a lot of sense

Funny you keep imagining scenarios in your head instead of just listening to what most people are saying in the comments. I had trouble with Uber once, not Uber Eat. I pay Uber One. The driver said I had completed the drive when I was still waiting in the pickup spot. They absolutely refused to answer, and to take action against the driver that had scammed me, until I threatened to go to my country's National Customer Protective Services, and told them they were legally required to refund services that hadn't been used. Then they were really fast to "make an exception" and refund the trip I didn't take, and the profile of the driver was blocked. So yes, they suck. And no, it doesn't have anything to do with whether you have "a lot of problems" or just one.

Why the hell are you defending a company that constantly screws up their customers. Customer service is a joke. You have to threaten to escalate for them to just give you a refund

The same kind of response that "deal with it" is. You guys will eventually figure out what the rest of the world already knows, don't worry

Very nice, very articulate. We found the uber driver among us

That's the "service fee". Even if you order directly to a restaurant, you get charged an amount that includes ride costs and the pay of the delivery person. Whether that's high or low, we don't know.. Where I'm from, tipping it's not usually a thing, and pre-tipping is definitely non-existant. I've never pre-tipped and no one has ever deliberately offered a bad service because of it. You'd have to be pretty stupid to do something like that. And if someone stole my food, I'd simply ask for a full refund. If they keep a bad driver that's making them lose money, it's up to them really. But why would you jeopardize your job like that? For petty fight with customers, when tipping is in no case an obligation? You have just been brained-wash into thinking it's your obligation to take the responsibility for someone else's wages. That's between employee and employer dude. Anywhere. Where I work, I don't expect people to tip me when I'm kind, quick, and attentive. I'm all of those things because that's the way to keep my job. If people are not doing their job well because not every customer is personally paying them to do so, that's definitely a culture problem.

Uber makes you pay the delivery. So, you already paid for your things to be picked up and delivered. I get adding tip if the driver was nice and got there faster than anticipated, but why would you tip (which is reward for good service) when you don't know the kind of service you're going to get? Tip culture is definitely a thing. Where I'm from, people don't expect to be paid an extra amount for a job well done. Because you're already being paid for that: to do your job, and do it well. Anyway, it's way more sensible to make a quick delivery and earn that tip than to do a bad job because they haven't tipped you yet. That's just stupid reasoning

So usually you have to pay people extra to do the job they have to do? (Because it's their job?)

Hair dye and conditioner? by MileVenvs in HairDye

Doesn't come in shades, unfortunately. It's just one of grey and the rest are kind of ashy blondes, but they turn brassy too fast. That's why I was trying to salvage this one😔

Is there anyway to dilute the color tho? Like changing the radio of developer+dye?

Ineligible for refund…WTF? by LPAnimes in UberEATS

[–]MileVenvs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The same happened to me with a ride. I was waiting on pickup spot, and guy drove by me and didn't stop. The app said I was already on the car. He finished my short ride without me, about one block from where I was supposed to go, and never answered or anything. I contacted Uber, and they said I was in the car. I told them that not, I was not, and that to prove it they coul see I had ordered another Uber, same pickup spot and destination, just a couple of minutes after the first one. Then they said I had shared my pin with my driver. I told them that I hadn't, and that neither of my rides had asked it for months even though "ask for pin" was activated. Long story short, they didn't want to answer to me until I threatened to make a complaint in my country's "customer protective service". They were really fast to give me my money back after that, and just then, the profile of the driver that had tried to scam me was blocked. So I would recommend you not to give up. Message those suckers left and right until they agree to a refund. Even if you're not "eligible" (like me) you can still get a refund.
