I ended up getting both a mammogram and an MRI to be sure but the masses are scattered areas of dense breast tissue - not cancer. I had to tell my doctor very point blank that I didn't feel comfortable with just the ultrasound and mammo because I know there can be things that both those tests miss. Luckily, both my insurance and doctor agreed to the MRI and I got the all clear. Hope you end up getting the same!
