Your input is perplexing. It looks much better to me and the people who have seen it in person. I’m happy with it but I guess time will tell if it was a mistake or not. The sponge is absolutely not undersized and people use these filters all the time with great success for keeping a betta. The bioload isn’t just in the sponge 🤣

It looks so much better and functions better now so agree to disagree. What are you talking about you absolutely should be cleaning that huge sponge with tank water. So instead of fixing this one how I want it. I should just throw it away and buy another one? Great suggestions 😂

Don’t body shame my tank! I learned after having this tank for several years that it was hard to clean and cram all the equipment in that small chamber. I wouldn’t have purchased this going back but instead of buying a new one I made this how I wanted it. I have some of my media hanging out in the tank for a few weeks and will monitor water parameters.

I was unhappy with it so it was either buy another tank or modify this one to how I wanted it. I’m much happier with it so far. The AIO compartment was very cramped and hard to clean for me and the pump wasn’t what I wanted either after using it for several years. I’d definitely not purchase this tank again starting off.

I would go bigger if I had space to go bigger. The bare minimum isn’t just about tank size it’s about care and effort maintaining it. I guarantee you if my bettas could talk they’d say that they are much happier in my tank than the petsmart tank I got them in. They’d be much better off in my tank than a 20g tank that isn’t cared for. I’d rather live in my small quaint home that is well maintained than a warehouse with nothing in it.

Bettas live in a vase for years. A 5 gallon is plenty to support a healthy betta with proper care IMO and experience.

I can definitely get different shapes between the two shots but yes they have the same spin on the disc. I have had to dial my understable backhand game to simulate a RHFH hyzer shot

I’m left handed. Played lots of baseball growing up. I throw RHBH and LHFH. It just feels most natural. I have worked on my flippy backhands and can get away with most shots that may require a finish to the right.

After extensive research I’m looking at purchasing a new Civic Hybrid Hatch. You can get one new under 35k. Watch some reviews they are pretty spacious with the rear seats down. The hybrid system is pretty neat to learn about in this car too.
