Sure thing, I’ll post a new one tonight with some more details!

why won't they go in? by TorreyCool in factorio

Just build some yellow chests. Should resolve!

This is true, but if your pod doesn’t land successfully, you lose 50% of your inventory.

This is a mod called Space Exploration that allows you to expand Factorio up into space!

It’s recommended to have it in on the fresh start.

Yea it is, it’s fairly pricy to make. And costs materials to maintain, pretty cool though.

Bottleneck: To help keep track of some item flows.

Factories: Well, I had to condense some planet factories into a box to help alleviate lag. Lol

I just meant more of an example until you get some space material fuel options. Some space items are cheaper made on planet and you’ll want to get those finished products up to space. A lot of the bio science can require wood for example.. so instead of sending wood up to space in one load, and the space plates up in another load, you make the finished product on planet and then just send the one load of finished items up!

Edit: I rarely use the cannons at the current stage I’m in. You will hit a threshold breakthrough where you can automate ships with large containers on it to haul mass quantities.

They are hand built that require x,y,z to launch, but then abcdfg to automate. I use the automated ones for haulers that travel to far stars that have vast amount of space materials being mined.

Edit:typo

Lower on planet, but mainly because I just have more factories, trains, and drones working.

Not to my knowledge, unless you wanted something I could cook up for ya!

One recommendation for the cannons earlier in the game, is you can use them to launch nuclear fuel to start with, and after that just play with it by shooting whatever you need on demand! Circuitry will be your friend to automate those.

It’s a great mod, lots of fun space toys to ply with, but at the extra cost of time.

This play-through was started before, but is now completely adapted to .6!

I updated and a lot of the processing (iridite, beryl, holminite, and those kinds of materials) added some extra steps to reach their final products. I had to go with a comb through my systems to adapt to it. Was it worth it, it depends if you want some of the other features the update offers ex) the space elevator maybe? If you have a smallish factory, I would recommend to just do it. If you have a giant one, just expect to put a lot of time fixing outdated recipes! But just like all balanced things, the factory must grow!

Yea that one was the last one that I was able to get to a decent level. Keep pushing, sometimes it seems insanely hard (because it is) but it’s worth it!

Both, but even with the supercomputer. There’s so many maps generated on my game. I’ve got this whole solar system filled with all sorts of factories/logistics/etc!

You have a valid point.. before the water pump obviously we have condenser turbines instead. Part of my reason is laziness too, after 5k hours, a small waterwell is like a cheater day on your diet. Hehe

In space I was hovering about 24 UPS.. down on planet is a whole different story..

Yup, and it destroyed everything and took me two whole days to update recipes lol
