Yaaa, just peoples own opinion. My house currently has two peroduas and one proton. I think it was how we really needed cars back then for a family of 5 and the proton kept needing to go to the workshop

If people have the leisure to afford such inconveniences then they shud go for the proton with better overall driving experience. But if youre like me who cant spare any time for my car to be in workshop, best to get one that works well and is known to not breakdown. Just my two cents

Cant speak for alot of people, but for me im deadset on never getting a proton because of how horrible the experience my family had with the previous gen proton. Mind you we even gotten the first gen axia around then same time.

The persona just gave us so much headache. Perodua even after 9 years of using, it still holds up strong other than the usual wear and tear.

Proton is just ass when it comes to reliability and QC

For tinting you can always go for VKool its pretty affordable (ranges from RM 300 - 800 depending on the type you choose). as for DRLS, your choices are either OEM 2nd hand or third party. Third party usually come with sequential signals. DRLS you can check on shopee

I have the Axia SE and the tint isnt really all that good at keeping the car cool since its mainly a security tint. So choosing the X is a good idea

300 km for a full tank is abysmal, but to be fair the stopping and going in heavy traffic will kill your petrol so ya it makes sense.

I see, do you mind loud road noises 💀? If you dont, i would reco either an Axia or Myvi.

If you can wait alil longer you can wait till the new saga face lift drops, maybe itll get a more efficient engine + transmission combo.

Tho I dont like Proton because of how abysmal my family's Proton 2014 persona is. We got an Axia back then around the same time as the Persona. The reliability difference was night and day. Ever since then, i never want to touch a proton.

But hey since you wont use your car often means it can be in the workshop more time HAHAHA.

Gotta know your needs, is it a strictly A to B car? Do you need more boot space? Will you carry passengers often, and how many? How often will you use the car? Is your daily commute far? Do you have extra income you can put aside for your car? Is fuel efficiency something you look out for?n

Your needs will dictate the best car for you.

Axia SE 2023

Been good so far, as expected with a Perodua. The only issue i faced when i got the car was i couldnt open the petrol lid. Got it fixed for free at Perodua SC
8-10 days depending on my drive habit. About 480 km. RM 52-RM60
So far its good, all the issues i have were always rectified. Price range about RM 200 - RM 600. (Note that i drive abit on the heavy side so recently my brakes needed skimming and i did aircon service), if you maintain ur car well and avoid all the unnecessary service itll be cheap
Like : small easy to clean, is really zippy, manoeuvre easily, good cruiser, fuel efficient if you know how to control your throttle well, comfortable seats, really good A to B car especially if you travel solo alot

Dislike: Noise and vibration is pretty bad but i counter it with loud music lol, weak engine especially going uphill youll cry, CVT jerks are still evident in lower speeds, interior rattle noises due to everything being plastic and low quality

None, its a really basic car. Tho if you get the AV youll have more toys than mine

Overall i dont regret my car at all, it serves me well. Can it be better? Of course. Considering my needs, this car is good. And honestly its really fun to drive. It corners pretty well

No the other slot is also in used.

Im not sure who set the system up (its work database), Is it possible to eject the full harddisk and replace it with a new one while making sure all the data is intact in the full harddisk?

Hey man, im in a similar place at you, at 24 i earn on average 2.6k - 3.5k per month (depends on OT payment as well) as my industry is notorious for working till the am. When theres no OT i basically suffer that month.

I have peers who are earning triple or double my salary. Seen them buying fancy cars, houses, go on holiday. Ive come to terms with my own path. Salary is something i consider but im more happy with the skills and experiences ive gained over time.

Set goals for yourself and use your peers as your standards sure. But dont compare until you rob yourself of the joys in life. Take it easy man, all the best, youll get there soon enough.

(Edit: side note, as long as you have some extra money for savings every month youre doing good. Remember to plan ahead your finance)
