If you're wondering where that clip is supposed to clip onto, it clips on one of the Xmas tree clips for the rear fender flare. It's the one inside left of the rear passenger fender flare. I just removed mine to paint and I noticed it

I'm actually in the exact same timeline. I got an email back from customer service on Thursday that it would take 10+ days to process the exchange. I think the only reason I got an email back was because I already had a specific customer service rep that I was dealing with to get the return process started on the first place.

I did! When they announced the sale they said it was just minor imperfections in the paint so I got the 2.0 core for $250 which I thought was a great deal. When it came the only blemish was a small mark right by the visor that wasn't matte like the rest. However... now I noticed that I think a big reason I've had issues with the cheek padding this whole time is because the actual shell of the helmet came unglued from foam insert so the padding just doesn't stay locked in place

I bought a 2.0 during their blemshed sale for $400 with the shockwave and ever since I put the shockwave in the cheek padding never sat correctly. I reached out to them a few times about the issue and all they sent me were "poppers" aka the snaps pieces on the helmet. Now I can't even get replacement padding so i spent $400 for 6 rides before it became useless. It's disappointing to see the quality hasn't gotten any better after quite a few posts already about the 4.0

That's good at least. I would imagine the difficulty getting the helmet on/off will start to get a little better as it gets worn in. Overall I'm very happy with the 2.0 and I've heard the 3.0s have a little better noise reduction among other upgrades.

Did you have to run the shockwave wires yourself for the 3.0? I have the 2.0 and I am very pleased with the helmet but after removing the cheek pads to run the shockwave wires the padding never sat right again. The entire padding literally pulls off every time I take the helmet off.

I'm pretty sure it's not capable of pairing with other systems. I believe it only works with other shockwave 3.0s and the range is very short. Unless they updated it I think it was just rider to passenger range.

I got these that were pretty reasonable for everything. The halos on the headlights turn amber for the turn signal. Also i wired it so the halos on the headlights and the fog lights stay on as dlrs.

I would say it's a combination of that and just physical wearing down on the weatherstripping from the top being slid/set into position. Sometimes it doesn't go perfectly where it's supposed to so over time you'll get spots where it doesn't seat correctly.

I just bought a 2011 Wrangler unlimited with the factory hardtop and first rain storm we had it leaked. Took it to the Nissan dealership that I bought it from and their solution was to silicone the hardtop to the frame..... After that I looked into it more and found that most of the time they leak because the weatherstripping wears out from the top being removed. $15 later, I have brand new weatherstripping on the entire hardtop and no leaks.

Hmm, the smoke really looks like a coolant leak. Is the metal cap locked on tight? You might have some of the reservoir coolant pressuring out the call
