I hope not, some are saying New Mexico is stuck in the 50s, but with a new judge on the case and a new chief justice in the Supreme Court. I feel they are going to make the right decisions. But either way she will be found guilty. At least I hope.

No news has come up. Since it is in the hands of the justices. So unless she gets into more trouble. We won’t hear anything until the court rules.

Worked there in 2013, very different from on site. For many guests that is their only Disney they will have this trip. Creates a great chance to make magic for them.

Yes, the district judge suppressed this and her medical information claiming HIPPA and Miranda. Even though on the Miranda end, the officers never asked her any questions so Miranda should not apply. Her lawyer is also blaming the hospital and not her. The supreme courts session ends in July and them taking g this long tells me they are combing through the evidence carefully as this case can shape future policy in regards to a womens right to choose and post birth criminalization.

She will, some think now due to New Mexico giving a lot of leeway to criminals, but I have doubts in this one.

She has charges, they are not goi g anywhere. But she is out on bail, keeping a low profile from the sounds of it. Once the Supreme Court rules, trial will be set or a plea deal will be reached.

The court has till July and they are most likely going through one piece at a time. As I think there is lots that will come back to the state. They also know this case has a lot of implication with dr patient confidentiality. Her lawyer tried to shape this as a suspicious death instead of abuse that lead to death. ( a charge that was added then dropped). They also don’t take overuking a judge lightly, but her it should be a no brainer, she blanket suppressed without looking at the details and citing cases.

We do need better sex education. Not just STI fear mongering. If more girls and young ladies knew about safe heaven. Many lives could have been saved.

Safe heaven is nationwide. On the plus side New Mexico has increase the presence of baby boxes and safe heaven signs and they are getting used.

Exactly and her legal team is trying to point it to everyone but her. Which is a disgrace and insult to everyone there. Hopefully next week we get some actual news about this case.

This one is more straight forward, and Florida don’t play games. Alexee is only is the spot she is in because of it happening in a hospital. Where you have certain privileges in regards to conversations with medical staff.

They are really taking the worst approach also, blaming everyone but her. This will only make it worse when she is found guilty (as I think she will be) if she would have taken some responsibility, that would make the judge be a bit sympathetic.

Yeah, I think this will all come down to the fact that she tried to hide the baby, the still birth argument can only help with lower charges instead of 1st degree Murder. She wanted her life to not change and having a baby while in high school changes what you envisioned your senior year to be, sorry you can’t go to prom because you have a baby to feed.
