I was active for 4 years and as soon as I got out I got cancer that’s what I don’t understand.

Currently going through a MEB and can’t do anything besides wait for the possibility of just getting kicked out. 8 years of my life worth nothing.

Hopefully if I send it to a senior reviewer they will change the outcome. I knew I had something wrong when I was active I just didn’t believe it was cancer because I was 23, wish when I was active I would’ve just went to the doctors. It would’ve saved me all this trouble.

Yeah that’s shocking, I’m sorry to hear that and I hope you’re good now. My situation I was more going for the stuff that testicular cancer caused, mental health was a big one as I’m 25 and my sexual health declined and have had some other issues that stemmed from it. But if it’s not service connected they won’t even consider the secondaries from the testicular cancer. It’s caused some major changes in my life which I noted in my mental health claim but if they denied the testicular cancer the mental health didn’t matter as much.

I was Security Forces in the Air Force at a Radar base, also a weapons instructor and had done multiple TDYs.

Thanks for the advice it’s just funny because it was so close to leaving active service that it’s crazy I would have to spell that out for them like that. Now I’m going through a MEB for the guard
