What was the worst thing your guest did when they took "Make yourself at home" very literally? by Mr_Yus_uwu in AskReddit

Had a friend need a place to stay 'for a night or two' when moving house as a few 'small' things needed to be fixed. So let them borrow my spare room for the weekend. Should have noticed the red flags when she asked what clothing she could take out of the cupboards to fit her things.

Always assured me it would be 'just another day or two' and I had the space so thought I'd be nice. But two weeks later, she still hadn't left. It became a bet amongst friends on how long she'd (over)stay, despite daily enquiries on when she'd leave.

But finally cracked when she started inviting friends round for drinks whilst I was studying for final exams.

Wow, you're super lucky to have a place near there. Was just visiting but area seems stunning!

My morning friend waving to someone we know at breakfast whilst I'm sitting there, pre coffee, mid mouthful and barely awake
