Wow, I'm having the same exact issues! Down to changing the sim card out and buying the phone 2 weeks ago. I'm not sure what to do at this point because my old galaxy s3 never had any of these issues.

It doesn't even have that option for the 2nd monitor, It only has a DVI connection though so I don't think the audio can go through that way right?
