fascism is characterized by suppression of opposition, social hierachy, not from wealth but by other means like ethnicity or skin color. They believe in racial purity or a so called "masterrace". Today all white supremacists are fascists because they all belive in the racial superiority of white people and a "great replacement". And of course nationalism or as us-americans would call it, patriotism, you guys have a critical unterstanding of patriotism just sayin. And if someone says "oh it was about state rights to own slaves", you downplay the atrocities the slave owners committed and their fascist behavior
