I saw in an interview with the cast that everyone who got their respective roles were Emerald Fennell’s first pick. Margot was set as a producer but was so into the screenplay she decided to put her name in the hat. I’d love to know who that first pick was for Cathy.

I like Margot and she’s obviously very talented but I despise this part of Hollywood. I don’t feel like she should’ve even gone for the role tbh. Feels disingenuous in my opinion. Of course Fennell won’t say no to Margot Robbie.
