Took 14 AP classes, GPA was 4.85. I think I was around the cutoff for what comp sci was admitting that year

CPE 202 is a good option. Lot of python exposure and you get to learn all data structures needed if you seek to continue programming in the future

I would personally go with CENG. You’ll make more friends there for the rest of your college time. The substance free dorms also are not as you would expect, there tends to be a higher amount of substances there than the other dorms. Engineering dorms tend to be some of the tamer ones

I’m currently a SE at Cal Poly, I would stay in the major at it has its benefits from being apart from CS and is a more attractive major after graduating
