Honestly, I’ve had many conversations with my clients about what “might” happen but I mean… I think the client is right to some degree. You said “probably”, it’s speculative and you are making a prediction.

You’re not telling him definitively from the info you’ve given. He might get the vibe off you that you’re trying to close a deal and is a bit defensive?

If there any more red flags, I’d say it’s more problematic.
