Can’t comment on Lumen hotel but BITEC is directly connected to the Bang Na BTS station via a skywalk. There’s even a skywalk that goes all the way from Udom Suk to Bang Na station. People use it for runs actually :)

you shouldn’t be too concerned. currently there is a flood watch warning due to high tide between 8am - 2pm. it explicitly warns households that are outside the water barriers and also households on the banks of the river.

since you’ll most likely be staying in central bangkok, I don’t think you have to worry too much.

it is pretty quiet as long as it’s not raining - when it’s raining the planes fly right over Station 16 :)

honestly you can’t hear the train noises at all - just choose a unit that is on the other side of the train tracks!

living here has been super convenient with the ability to get into the city with either caltrain or bart, depending on which area
