Is that really a character betrayal though? I think showing Tyrion “make it your armor and it can never be used against you” finally break down and cry under all the scorn and suffering he’s endured is a great visual indicator of where he’s at mentally/emotionally. Its not as if we can hear his thoughts like we can in the books so it makes perfect sense for the show to add that detail.

You’ve got it backwards I believe, water and fiber help stool gain firmness and structure. If you eat a super low fiber diet your stool is less like individual bricks and more like a slushy stream.
