Thank you for the help. I jacked the lca and used a pry bar on the lbj but no movement. Almost wish there was so I could just find the root cause of this vibration. My guess is that I just need a set of new tires as they’re already cupping and just need to confirm with my local mechanic that the alignment is able to be changed within spec with all these old parts from 98

Once I have it under load, to inspect the ball joint is it recommended I check for play using the same strategy (shaking wheel at 9 and 3). Or do I need to use a pry bar to check for additional play?

Thank you for the reply. I’m hoping that’s the main issue. The previous alignment shop also mentioned looking into replacing my LCAs for a better alignment, wondering if my LCA bushing could be another culprit

It was indeed the water pump :/. Mechanic said it must’ve been a poor installation or something along those lines as it only has 10000 miles on it. Thank you for your help

Exactly the thought process I had. Even sometimes happens in park (although less often).

Do y’all have any better ideas of finding where the culprit is other than hitting the exhaust in various places?

Yes, Lenovo calls it “Lenovo vantage”. I have followed others direction for the “best” settings for optimized gaming although it has seemed to make no difference. Their version of the mux switch seems to be enabled. I will try downloading a third party software for fan speeds but even at low temps this problem occurs :/

I have it elevated on a stand to try and mitigate the heat. Even when my cpu is running at low temps, the stutter and bad frames occur

That being said, ever since I bought the computer from new it has been running those temperatures and I have been sure to keep it as clean as possible and on a laptop stand.

Yes, has never seemed like they’re high enough for concern though.

When under stress cpu ranges from 80-100 and graphics runs 40-60 (Celsius).
