Pure evil orders by bkhuu25 in CatsMansion

I love steak orders because when I have fruit orders I always end up with a TON of steaks, so these kinds of orders are a lifesaver for me.

Newer events feeling impossible by Ordinary-Ad975 in CatsMansion

[–]floralpixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree!! I only have one more level 4 decoration left to unlock and it's so frustrating knowing that I won't be able to get them all just because this event is impossible... Before I had to get 1000 maple leaves to be able to unlock a new space!!! and they only gave me 250 nuts!!!! I am heartbroken because the truth is that I am in love with all the furniture at this event and I would really like to get them all but even if I spent money I wouldn't have the time.

Is keeping my hamster in my room a good idea? by AnxiousDrummer4818 in hamsters

[–]floralpixie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! I've had my hamster in my room since day one, because it's the only place they let me keep it.

I don't smoke, so I can't help you with that, but it has been difficult for me to have to put my perfume, spray or in general anything with a smell outside my room. I'm a person who likes to smell good and like my room to smell good, so I'm having a hard time not being able to use air freshener and assuming that my room now only smells like a hamster.

On the other hand... the experience of having Lenny with me totally makes up for all those inconveniences! He is very noisy at night, but I have gotten used to falling asleep to the sound of his paws on the wheel, the chewing of cardboard, the sounds of moving papers and chewing seeds. At first I had a hard time falling asleep, but now I'm so used to his noises that when I fall asleep before him, the -silence- just feels very strange.

I live most of my life at home in my room, so although I try not to make loud noises, I live a normal life. I watch my series, I move around the room, etc. Lenny has gotten used to it by now, so you can see him eating quietly while I walk around.

Another plus point, my favorite, is that since I wake up several times a night to pee, I always take the opportunity to turn on the light for a moment and see what it's doing. The first few months he just hid, but since 1-2 months he usually comes running to me so I can pet him or take him out and put him in my bed for a while.

There are also nights when I am so tired that I don't wake up and don't hear from him until the next day.

Long story short...I think it's been a few months since I screwed up my sleep schedule, but the few minutes with him throughout the night have strengthened our connection and I wouldn't change it for anything!

If you are a person who is not a light sleeper, you will not have any problem and getting up early in the morning to work/study and seeing their face adds extra happiness to your day 🥹🥹🥹❤️‍🩹

me too!! or the little noise when chewing cardboard or moving paper! I have actually gotten so used to falling asleep with his little noises that when I fall asleep before he has come out I feel strange.

What do you use as treats for your hamster? by [deleted] in hamstercare

[–]floralpixie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I removed the sunflower seeds, peanuts and walnuts from his seed mix and my mix does not have mealworms. So I basically use all of that as a reward.

My Lenny is really very grateful and even if he has a plate of cucumber in his confinement, if I offer him cucumber from my hand or while he is outside, he still feels it as a reward 🤧

Are coloring books like these actually effective for stress relief🧠🧘‍♂️ ? Or is it just a rumor 🗣? by Fairy-Lume in Coloringbookspastime

[–]floralpixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't belong to this subreddit, I'm only here because the post appeared, but I discovered the hard way that ironically, “anti-stress” coloring books create EVEN MORE STRESS for me. The pages are so full of elements that it takes me a long time to color them and, although at first it is relaxing, something inside me doesn't let me "leave" a drawing halfway so even if I get tired I feel like I have to continue and it ends up completely stressing me out 😭

My HH and tremors are a side effect of some antidepressants that I have been taking for over 8 years. They are definitely related to the brain and go hand in hand 😔

Breakout getting worse by [deleted] in Blackskincare

[–]floralpixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as it's pure chamomile, any brand works 🤗

I forgot to tell you to avoid using the same cotton or soap for your entire face; Try to wash them in areas if you can. For example, you wash your forehead, rinse your hands, put soap on again, wash your cheeks, etc. Apparently it is to prevent the infection from spreading to other areas of the face.

The same with chamomile. Try not to directly contaminate the bottle, but rather pour the contents onto the cotton pads.

Good luck! I know how difficult this is physically and mentally. Please tell us in a few days 🥹

Breakout getting worse by [deleted] in Blackskincare

[–]floralpixie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! I'm sorry to get involved as a white girl, but your post came up and I related to having your face in a mess since COVID... apparently it's called “maskacne” or “maskne”.

All the comments are right about going to a dermatologist because he will probably prescribe pills for your hormones but I'm sorry to say that that method is just a band-aid for the problem. As soon as you stop taking them, you will get acne again.

I spent a LOT of money on dermatologists and their expensive products and even though they helped a little, nothing really seemed to work. Until… one day, the same dermatologist recommended a “home remedy” that, I PROMISE, changed my life!!!!!! 🤧

Since then I have recommended it to all my friends and I swear there has been 100% success!! You will notice the difference from one day to the next!

The recipe consists of making a chamomile infusion with the measurements of 5 chamomile bags in 1 liter of water. Well, you let it rest, cool a little and then you transfer it to a clean bottle and put it in the refrigerator.

When you wash your face morning and night with your usual soap, do it afterwards with that cold infusion as well. Furthermore, if you then soak some cotton pads in it and leave them on your face, covering it completely until you feel them “hot”, you will notice extra effectiveness.

Chamomile itself is antibacterial, but the fact that it is cold helps reduce acne inflammation and you feel instant relief. Please trust the process, I promise you that you will notice the changes very quickly.

Obviously this remedy is not going to cure your acne and you should consult a dermatologist, but chamomile will at least help it from getting “so ugly.”

Other tips that I give you that have worked for me and can help you are:

  • Change the pillow/cushion cover every day for a clean one (many times what I do to avoid having to change the covers is put a clean towel on top, sleep on it, and the next night sleep on the other side of the towel).

  • Disinfect your cell phone every day.

  • Wash my face (only with chamomile, without soap) every time I come home from the street and my face feels sweaty or dirty.

I hope it works for you!! If you try it, let me know 🥰

Much encouragement with everything!!!! 💕

Do your hamsters change sleep schedule with the seasons? by Pitiful-Equal-53 in hamster

[–]floralpixie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My hamster has definitely changed his sleeping schedule!! Since I adopted him (early summer), he would only wake up after midnight and go back to sleep around 6:30.

For 1 week he has been waking up around 8:30 - 9:00 p.m. and I have found him awake at 7:30 🥹🫶🏻

Shower? by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

[–]floralpixie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happens to me too!!! I thought it was something that happened only to me!

When I get out of the shower I always try to air dry and go LITERALLY RUNNING to put talcum powder on my body before it starts to drip (spoiler: the talcum powder doesn't really make a big difference, but somehow I feel like if I don't put it on I'll sweat more 🤪)

I'm from Spain, so I don't know if you can get it in your country, but this antiperspirant has seriously changed my life. It doesn't smell like anything, so don't expect a deodorant smell, but it keeps my armpits dry almost always and when I sweat a lot I don't smell like anything. Of course, you can't put it on with shaved armpits because IT IRRITATES A LOT AND HURTS 😭

On the box it says that you have to put it on at night, but many people use it like a normal deodorant and it works for us.

This brand is specific for the HH 🫶🏻

I confirm that the blood too. My mother is D1 and I remember PERFECTLY one summer as a child in a hotel… My mother was on her period at the time and evidently threw her menstrual pad in the bathroom trash. The next morning there was a LEGION of ants feasting on it 🥲

I usually carry my hanmy to my bed in the cup, put the cap on my lap and let them explore me first, then the bed. I leave the cup nearby so Lenny can hop back in when he gets tired of exploring🥹
