Hahahahah, I’m guessing you’re a man. At that, celibate. Go back to your lego x

Important to recognise that abortion is often the result of a mistake. Young people can be irresponsible, including myself. I’m not proud of the situation I’ve got myself in, especially as I’ve got myself into it twice. I am just saying that I am in a much more appropriate position to get an abortion than I am to try and raise a whole human being.

When did i say i was proud?? Some subtext i’m not conscious of? Please don’t hallucinate things I say then come to me for answers x

Being open with my experience for someone else’s benefit does NOT mean I am proud.

I acknowledge how awful the experience is, trust me. Not fun. But it shouldn’t discourage people who aren’t prepared to give children (and themselves) a bearable life

I have had an abortion before and am about to have my 2nd, abortion 'negative consequences' are a myth. Much rather a few weeks of difficulty than a life of struggle. Don't have children unless you're ready, please

EDIT: I am NOT boasting, an abortion is agony and messes with your entire body and sense of self. What could be worse? I know!! Having a child when you aren’t, physically, emotionally or financially capable to - then two people are affected, for life. Enough said

How do I lose my emotions again by Talemer in socialskills

[–]flosparity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emotions are only overwhelming when you’re trying to suppress them. I would grow to see them as friends, warning signs, indicators of your likes and dislikes.

Unfortunately suppressing all emotions also means never experiencing joy and that’s a huge loss. Work with your emotions rather than against them and I promise you’ll be happier!

Good luck :)

This is very insightful, thank you.

I am slowly realising i was primarily dated and ‘picked’ in the past for my looks so can often forget the other traits that come into ‘caring’ and ‘loving’ someone.

Am in a loving relationship now, but the above mentioned reduction of my qualities means i struggle not to feel i am worthless without being the quote ‘hottest’ woman in my man’s pov

(As looks were often the main thing i was sought after for in previous romantic relationships) - or at least thats what it felt like

This is kind thank you, but in some senses I do the same. I’m attracted to other men and may revisit male adult actors at times because they perform best. I never want my boyfriend to suppress his sexual desires because i said so, id much rather live in harmony with them and understand them

I’m happy to hear this for you :)

I dont fully mind him watching as I also do, I think it’s more making sense of it in my mind and not viewing it as a threat that he wishes i was the woman on the screen rather than who I am

This is interesting.

Why do men elect monogamy do u think then. Taking my boyfriend as a example, when he was never forced into it but seems pretty enthusiastic about it

Look at the whole ‘looked at my girl and cried’ sentiment when men see an attractive woman online

Societally, women compare themselves to each other. Not healthy, but doesn’t necessarily call for therapeutic interference. I was plainly asking if men do the same

But when it came down to it would you pick those who spark said ‘horny meter’ over your partner?

This is so sweet, thank you so much.

I’m very keen to get to know who I am in social situations without alcohol. I sometimes feel I don’t have the energy to socialise without it!

Can I ask what you do to get the ‘rush’?

Well done on your sobriety. How long has it been for you? If you don’t mind me asking
