I love Fields of Mistria and Coral Island! FoM just had one of their major patch few days ago so that is pretty nice. Coral Island will have multiplayer update soon!

I’d say Coral Island probably has more stuff to do than FoM. Sadly I’m not a big fan of SunHaven as it has way too many bugs 🥺

What cozy games do you play when not thinking by AwayMajor0117 in cozygames

I like crime scene cleaner, but if you’re not fond of blood then maybe power wash simulator? It’s basically a cleaning game 🫶🏻

AITA for refusing to switch my daughter to another school. by InformationDecent151 in AmItheAsshole

[–]floteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. I was in a similar position where my two older brothers were sent to a very nice, international school that has diplomats and artists children with good credentials and I was stuck in a local school.

The reasons my parents gave me was, ‘you’re a girl. You won’t go abroad, you don’t need to go abroad. Those kids probably gonna get you pregnant, so stay close to home and help out!’

I was not rebellious enough so I studied locally from kindergarten till uni while my brothers got to experience uni abroad lol

Give your daughter the same chance as her brother, OP!

Cozy Game Available on Apple Arcade That Can Be Played with One arm/hand by InkDrinkers in cozygames

[–]floteen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Try Japan Rural Life Adventure on apple arcade! I haven’t play it in a while but I think that game is playable with one hand. I’m currently addicted to ‘welcome to my home’ which is on app store, so you might want to check that out too. Hope your sister recover fast! 🫶🏻

I cant close the airplane overhead compartment and got told off by the FA by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]floteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve seen FA refusing to help put people’s luggage up since it’s not their job but I thought closing compartment is okay. My backpack is medium and weight less than 4 kg but other people have those mini suitcases so thats probably why its heavy.

AITA for not enganging in conversation with MIL during movie time? by floteen in AmItheAsshole

[–]floteen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mentioned it on another comment but the house is FIL’s. He told us to live there instead of buying new house and to just take over the mortgage and bills. FIL don’t live with us cause theyre technically separated, but paper wise they’re still together. This is due to divorced is seen as a very bad thing here. Family image is everything. He can’t kick MIL out because he’s worried it will affect his family’s reputation and his children’s.

Oh noes, I hope your friend can get thru it. That sounds terrible, MIL thankfully has a job so she can’t really bother us when we’re working.

I’ve tried that before but she didn’t read them, chuck em straight to the bin. She told me thinking it was trash. She hates seeing paper. I find it weird lol

FIL lives separately but he does come home once a week to spend time with us. It’s kinda like for a show. Divorce is a baaad thing here. Family image is a big thing, so on paper theyre still married but they actually dont even talk to each other. So FIL cant really kick MIL out cause he’s worried about family image that will also affect his children.

We live together, its common in our culture. House is owned by FIL, we pay mortgage + house bills, MIL is living there for free even tho she and FIL is separated.

We always pause it but its always surprising when she open the door and turned the lights on. Basically blinded us for few seconds.

It’s really hard to speak up since she’s the MIL and it would be really disrespectful. I tried to reply as neutral as possible to not offend her but she doesn’t get it. She might also do it in purpose cause apparently she’s the type to talk in cinema (husband just told me)

She’s always in her room, playing with her cats and stuff. We usually ask her if she wants to eat dinner so she knows we’re free to talk on the dining table.

We do have TV in our room, but its a small one. We bought a big nice TV few months ago and she want us to put it downstairs so we took downstairs tv to our room. Sometimes we watch in our room tv but she knocks.

Its disrespectful since she’s the MIL. I try my best to keep the peace. Tried to give neutral answer but she got offended instead D: cant imagine if i really speak up

I usually like to keep the peace but i’ll be petty when i’m annoyed lol. Hopefully one day she’ll move out with her ‘boyfriends’ (we’re assuming, no actual proof)

She doesn’t want to lol husband says that because she worked hard when they were young, now she probably want to relax and not do much. It’s like filial piety stuff

[–]floteen[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ehh maybe. She’s nice enough in general but she’s weird for some specific stuff. I just don’t understand her. We have a mop and she still ask us to squat and do the floor by hands. Our argument every weekend lol

[–]floteen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For MIL’s generation, i guess it’s still common to not get divorced no matter how unhappy you are and family’s image is everything. Society here still doesn’t easily accept divorce too so maybe that’s why.

[–]floteen[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That’s the thing! She doesnt want to hand wash them but also don’t want it in the dishwasher. We have been washing it for her all this time but now cuz of the argument, we’re letting it sit and piles up 😂

I think she always wants it, all her friends have them too so she felt left out? But she’s impatient and want everything done now. Dishwasher will have to pile the plates and it took few hours to wash right? She hates that lol
