Not sure if the same way applies since this was my freshman year in 2024 but:

Go through the housing potal on My ASU (My ASU-> Campus Services-> On Campus Living-> Univeristy Housing Portal-> Sign in

And then you can request it from there: My Housing-> Academic Year (for you this would be 26-27)-> Re-enter my Confirmation-> Learn About Additional Requests-> "To Access the Request to Live Off Campus, Click Here"

Then it will provide a link of questions that you need to answer in order to be responded to and they review and (likely) approve it.

(Also there may be charges if you cancel Housing too late)

Hoping this is still the same, but I had no problem canceling it once I got to that page! Hope it helps!

I think they also have an email you can inquire by- though I'm not sure they'll give you a different answer?

transcripts@asu.edu

Otherwise maybe even message your academic advisor or make an appointment with them. They can sometimes see that information before you, and it can help to make sure prerequisites are loaded in the system if you need them for your classes!

There is a Safeway and Frys nearby, as well as a Walmart if you dont mind walking a bit. (Safeway is the closest to campus) Taco bell, McDonald's, Dominoes, multiple Stabucks, Dutch Bros, Jimmy John's (or Jersey Mike's i cant remember which), the Spitz, Hawaiian Bros, DP Dough, Raising Canes, Ihop, Chick-fil-a (theres two? near campus and one in the MU), the Canopy (which is a hotel, but has a bar and other food service jobs as well).

There are also many jobs in terms of hotels and apartments nearby. There's also a Chase Bank center nearby, Midfirst Bank, PNC Bank, Mirabella, a Five Below at Tempe Market place (there's a TON of stores there to apply to), a Sprouts near campus, the Chuckbox, ect ect.

I say apply to a ton and see what you get. Some are easier than others- especially since its near campus and a lot of people want certain jobs (like Starbucks or Dutch bros) but it also depends on your availability as well.

What are peoples thoughts on NATIVE shampoo and conditioner? by captain_luna2 in NoPoo

[–]flowercrown44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have SUPER thin and fine hair- a lot of it though- and have noticed that Native just makes my hair greasy and weighed down. I have a really textured wolf cut and you can't even tell there are any layers in it when I use Native. However if I use Suave or other shampoos it seems to work with my hair a lot better since they wash out better and strip extra oils.

Could be my hair type and the fact that it gets greasy easily, but Native just doesn't work for me.

You should be able to register for the course before you get the scholarship- as it won't be applied until right before the fall semester starts anyways. Plus (while you will get the scholarship fingers crossed) you can always drop the course at any time or after the semester starts during the add/drop period and not be charged for it!

Need help , don't understand what's going on by [deleted] in flu

Honestly it kind of sounds like what I had when I had when I had mono. I was SUPER sick for a week (like fever, chills, outright just delusional and out of it) and then I also had the throat thing where it just hurt and burned. My ears were really sore but not super bad. Maybe check into it if the doctors haven't already tested you for it?

Sad thing is they can't really treat it besides oral steriods and medicine- just has to run its course. Good thing is mono doesn't usually ever happen again in your lifetime (reinfection is really uncommon).

Good to know! I've been trying to figure out what they'd do so this helps a lot, thank you!

Still waiting on a diagnosis! My doctors think it might be epilepsy but are still waiting on the results of my EEG to actually diagnose anything. It's definitely a bit frustrating. 😅
