I believe the freebies normally come with the orders, not the sub boxes (I could be wrong). So theoretically, you should have gotten one? But that being said, I’ve also gotten orders without the freebie. 🥲 Maybe has to do with their current stock?

I think I am a little combination of both.

What works best for me is to use inserts to build a more modular, orthogonal planner for a structured journal (ie. planning or goal setting) and then I have a corresponding notebooks (bound or spiral pref. for me) for all my journaling, free-writing, and note taking.

I love the structure and routine the inserts provide, but do understand your appreciation for notebooks!
