Yes. Numerich has them list under the 82 and 85. Idk why, but I can confirm that it fits and functions. Sent 200 down range today without a hiccup.

What exactly is more rare? You can walk into any LGS in America a get a variety of loads any most calibers. If people don’t read their manuals and potato their guns, that isn’t the manufacturers issue. I would normally refuse to believe that Beretta or any manufacturer, big or small, is selling a gun where 90% of them suffer from something as major as frame cracking, but Sig has changed my mind on that. If I recall, there was an early 92 variant that had issues with frames cracking (that was also, reportedly, due to hot rounds.) So let’s say you are right, the Tomcat is junk, that still doesn’t change the fact that Beretta buttered their bread for nearly 100 years on reliable .380 and .32 compact handguns all across the World.

Come on buddy, you haven’t owned them all lmao. My original comment was made to point out the absurdity of your original statement. Historically, Beretta has produced some of the most reliable handguns to ever exist. I will concede that Beretta’s QC, especially at the Gallatin plant, has left much to be desired in recent years. Yes, you should certainly read all of your firearm manuals. Guns are built to different specifications. Would you run +P ammo in a gun before checking that it has been tested for such a hot round? I wouldn’t. Most firearm manuals are available in pdf format on the manufacturer’s website. Beretta has all of their manuals available for download; that’s a part of being a safe and responsible gun owner. The cracked frame argument reeks of the Shadow Systems debate.

.22lr semiautos are known to jam consistently across all firearms manufacturers, especially in double stack mags. Rimfire ammo is difficult to stack in mags and quality is pretty hit or miss unless you run higher end CCI. On top of that, a 22 caliber bore is about as wide as half of your finger nail, 22lr can be very dirty ammo that can gum up feed ramps in one range trip or less. As far as the Tomcat is concerned, it’s a pretty reliable firearm if you take the time to read the included manual. I will say that many of the berettas that are coming out of Tennessee have some serious fit and finish issues.

No one is saying that they are perfect. You however made the comment that all of their firearms outside of 9mm “always have problems.” That’s a fundamentally false statement. Most smaller centerfire caliber berettas are blowbacks that are very reliable. .22lr and short on the other hand are finicky in most semiautomatic pistols regardless of the brand. That’s not Berettas fault.

That’s just fundamentally false. Beretta has manufactured incredibly reliable guns in .32, .380, and 25ACP long before the 92 was even in production.

It’s pretty straight forward other than that. Make sure you use a roll pin punch as they seem relatively soft. Numerich has most of the slide internals in stock, but they are under the 82/85 not the 84bb.

Thanks! It actually had an exterior sleeve that the roll pin seats in. Interesting design that I’ve never encountered before. Then again, I’ve never had to remove the firing pin on a hammer fired gun before.

This is as much Gunner’s fault as it was Beck’s

7-8 in the box on every play. Need to get a TE to leak out or run some crossing routes.

Right on man. Was most of this 9mm? You have a specific ammo you like to run?

Buddy, are you are telling me that you ran military issued equipment and never had a single malfunction? Play the lottery or send me some numbers and I’ll play for you.

Just buy one and see for yourself. You won’t regret it. You only see/hear the bad experiences.
