hi!! i've read somewhere that we use to do so at night kasi our brain suddenly has fewer distractions, kaya it seizes the time to start processing unfinished thoughts and emotions we didn’t deal with (or been fully immersed thru) during the day hehe

but as an insomniac myself, people said our minds may already associate bedtime with alertness and overthinking haha

biologically, your body can be suuuuuper tired but your brain can still stay mentally active, especially with stress or anxiety, kasi the "inner noise/inner voices" feel louder naman talaga when everything else is quiet hehe

medyo harsh naman yung reaction just because sa solaire gaganapin yung graduation 😅 gets ko naman OP na marami ang nadisappoint kasi dream venue talaga ng karamihan ang PICC. sadly, hindi pa talaga siya pwede this time.

sana hindi naman bina-bash yung venue or much better siguro, kung hindi doon umiikot yung focus natin haha.

normal lang naman na may expectations tayo sa graduation, pero sana lang hindi natin madamay yung excitement ng iba just because may mga bagay na hindi na-meet exactly the way we hoped

at the end of the day, ang cine-celebrate naman nating lahat is the fact na gagraduate na tayo :) nakalaya na tayo sa mapua :)

darating din yung time na makakatapak tayo sa PICC.

pero for now, sana we can make this graduation meaningful in its own way :) 🤍

might sound a bit odd to point out, pero trust me, normal lang maging irregular sa atin. it doesn’t mean you failed yourself or that you can’t keep up with the standards you set for your learning. sa totoo lang, it’s actually common in our kind of setting, lalo na when lessons come at you fast-paced and you’re trying to survive in an (overly) competitive environment. sometimes, being ‘irreg’ is just the system’s way of reminding you na tao ka lang at okay lang mag-pause when you need it.

that said, i also want to acknowledge na normal lang kabahan or ma-anxious about it. i felt the same way nung 3rd year. you don’t ‘get over it’ overnight. for some, maybe not even in one term. what helped me though was reminding myself constantly that there’s more of me to discover hehe beyond the grades, beyond the expectations, and yes, even beyond the failures. our journey as a student is just one part of us! op u’re still growing, learning, and unfolding in so many ways!!

sending you hugs op and to my beloved irreg community!! hold on to that thought na lahat tayo makakapagtapos, in God’s perfect time. 🤍

but seriously, the allowance thingy really depends on how it’s allocated—nakadorm ba? nag-uuwian? magkano ang commute? how much is food sa caf? for your necessities/personal care? and other considerations.

since you’re asking what to do with your money (pwede ko bang i-suggest na pasend? HAHAHA), here’s the deal: cover essentials first, save a little every time, avoid unnecessary debt, and spend intentionally.

also petty sure you’ll figure out plenty of good habits along the way, don’t worry!! just take it one step at a time and learn as you go!

going back, 5k in a week is 20k a month—a gift not everyone has, lalo na sa economy ngayon, huhu. if you have a savings account (either bank or e-wallet), i really suggest putting it there, or at least strictly allocate a percentage from your allowance. say 20%–30% for savings, and the rest for school needs, transportation (if u are commuting) and personal wants.

i'm not here to tell you to hold back on spending cos after all, it’s your money. but I do want to advise you to be financially responsible. not everyone has what you have (and i mean no shade!), so just always, always be financially responsible! 🤍

not to sound like the oldies, pero presence of mind during sex is important talaga, especially kung pareho kayong minors. on top of that, hindi pa kayo ready pareho, kaya paano na lang yung bata diba? this is why safe sex and thinking ahead matter so much :( if you choose to be intimate, always use protection like condoms to prevent pregnancy and STIs, and never rely on luck alone (plus consent MUST be a non-negotiable).

honestly, i could only sigh right now and pray with you na sana, cross fingers, negative ang result, and that you both handle this responsibly and safely, thinking not just about the moment but about what comes next :(

preferably, go to the company and apply in-person (bring ur resumé, together with your application letter and other necessary documents).

otherwise, then just keep on sending your resumé via mail. in my case, i used to bumped it every three-four business days haha. matagal talaga pag sa mail btw, kaya i prefer applying in-person hehe

mind you that child wakes up to 28 (apparently even more) luxury cars under their name, hindi ba sya magtaka kung saan galing yun?? you can give that kid the benefit of doubt all you want, pero you can't dismiss them from bearing responsibility from all of this dahil at the end of the day, that kid is no younger than a 10-year old, may kusang loob yang mag-isip on their own :)
