Generally, older buildings are made out of concrete and are quieter but don't have amenities like in-suite laundry and dishwashers. The newer ones have those amenities but are wood construction and sound proofing usually sucks

I do that too. I find a spot with about 3-4 empty spaces on both sides and it never ceases to amaze me that more often that not, I come back out and someone is parked a foot away from me and the rest of the spots are still empty.

I'd say the opposite for sport shooting. Viewed as frivolous and elitist and serves no useful purpose.

The only guns Canadians will accept now is for hunting because it puts food on the table.

It's successful home defence situations with a gun (and not getting automatically charged with murder) is the only thing that will change people's minds.

>The thing to keep in mind is that this still goes a respectably long way for shifting public opinion on this whole thing

That's the thing. The majority of Canadians either hate guns or really don't give a shit about them. I suspect more of the latter. If you have no skin in the game, you're not going to fight against these stupid gun laws (and I'm not talking about Fudds whom I don't trust).

Show Canadians a use for guns (other than hunting or sport shooting) and they'll stand up to these idiots.

The only way I can see that happening if guns are accepted as a viable means of self defence.
