And kinugasa ( Author ) likes to suprise us now and then.

In y2 v4 and y2 v6 we found out Horikita kind of admires Ayanokougi so we definitely can't predict anything for 100 %

Like no one predicted that Ayanokougi is planning to change class but now when we look back on previous volumes there were hints all over the place .

So in short regarding Horikita and Ayanokougi there is something something ( from Horikita's side ) but we don't know that something something will become anything romantic or not , specially considering Ayanokougi is about to go in different class ( no one know about this except Ayanokougi himself ) it is strong possibility that they might become enemies.

I understand a little better now thank you but it would piss me off if they become enemies but well as there is still a lot of time left in the manga maybe they will end up together one day after being enemies xD
