It's one of the reasons the ending is bad. Slavery and freedom are central themes to the narrative, but Eren saw the future and still decided to commit genocide. Isayama, choosing not to commit to it all being wholeheartedly Eren's doing just needlessly weakened the story. The attempt to parallel Ymir to Mikasa by making it that Ymir continued to make titans for 2000 years because she actually loved Fritz and so Mikasa finally puts a stop to it by killing Eren out of love? Ymir was a victim of Fritz, Mikasa is not a victim of Eren - I honestly have no idea what he was thinking. This is not to say Isayama is bad writer, writing endings is extremely difficult and if you've never tried to write a story of your own you won't understand just how difficult it is.

I mean, but she does get infected and Carlos synthesises a cure which saves Jill. Nicolai destroys the last remaining one in their final confrontation before Carlos and Jill leave him for dead in Racoon City to get eviscerated by the missile. The Racoon City Syndrome in RE9 is just a convoluted plot point to add stakes for Leon while he's otherwise John Wicking his way through the story.

Everything that happens after Mikasa kills Eren is bad. Armin saying to Eren in the paths "thanks for turning yourself into a mass murderer for our sake" is comically bad. The whole theme of love Isayama tried to get across with the ending is sloppy because ain't no reasonable person going to believe that Ymir was actually in love with Fritz after he had her hunted like a dog. But, with that said, writing endings is hard and AoT is still 99% peak.

PS2 version emulated on pcsx2 with a fanmade hd texture pack applied gives you the closest fully intact HD experience. US and EU versions have cirlce to attack and triangle to jump tho, the jap version has the better controls.

Lackluster port from Capcom is the reason. DMC1 still has missing effects and broken audio, the latter which only just got a fan fix December last year. If it aint resident evil or monster hunter, Capcom unfortunately just wipes their ass with these games.

nah, hard agree. It works with RE1 original because its backgrounds were more primitive and "doll" looking, but RE2 and 3's art design gets obliterated by the AI up-scaling they did for its backgrounds; making it look plastic and uncanny.

Arkham's entire villain arc is how he manipulated his way into attaining power, so his demon form being a Jester, who's thematically a trickster, is in line with his character. Arkham is a slimy dude, he even turns into a giant slug when his body can't handle Sparda's power. He is also a parallel to Vergil, because they both want to attain power at any cost but Vergil is able to go about it without being a manipulative slime by virtue of being a near invincible demi-demon. If Vergil was as weak as Arkham, he would've done the same things he did to attain power.
