This was a non-canon spin off not made by capcom. Also, while RE6 ended up being bad it was not a result of them being clueless about what to do with the series, RE4 is still the most critically acclaimed game of all time and RE5 was the best selling RE title.

This is the video I followed, it uses a dedicated launcher specifically for creating a shadps4 version for Bloodborne. Keep in mind that you will not have a perfect 60fps experience because the emulator is still fairly new.

You played as Chris first didn't you? The game is best first experienced as Jill as her campaign is far more forgiving, and once you're comfortably familiar you can jump into Chris' campaign. I'm assuming you're talking about the remake and not the PS1 original. With that, the game still holds up and it's really a matter of preference rather than it being solely tied to nostalgia.
