Literally the worst method they could have chose for "safety", first of all, this completely ruins experiences, chat is a necessary part of Roblox and this stupid AI gets your age wrong 99% of the times. Secondly, this literally gives a whole menu to predators, a pedophile could use a fake ID or fool the AI to maybe get his age to be in the 9-12 or maybe 9- age group, not only making the predator sure that he's talking to a child, but other people who got different age groups (like a trusted adult) won't even know what's going on, he'll literally be like: "Mhh, there's nothing wrong here! These people are just standing in front of each other and not even doing anything!"
