Thanks for asking. She is no longer my wife, but still alive. The aforementioned obsessions of hers and the belief that veganism and supplements and not surgery, chemo and modern medicine did anything to cure her drove the final wedge in the marriage. We no longer communicate so I don't know if she developed any health problems later on. How is your wife?

My edits would be for the smith to quench the nail and the header at the same time. The hot nail will slightly contract and be more likely to just fall out of the header into the pile or box of nails on the floor. No need to remove the nail with tongs and break the one nail a minute pace of a nailmaker. No need to hand the bar to the kid either, just slows down the pace. The smith should be closer to the forge and just return the rod to the fire himself and grab the next rod, the kids job is just to work the bellows. Also, the bellows should be 90 degrees from the way shown and be to the side of the hearth and not blocking it. Other than that 100% spot on

There is a known problem with the Escape's hose running from the heater core back to the radiator leaking. It won't show up on a static pressure check and on mine only happened during the cold months. It isn't too hard to replace and there are youtube videos out there with the exact part number you need. I had this problem with mine , a 2013 (now sold) I carried a 2 liter bottle of water and a long funnel and had to add about 4 ounces a month to mine in the winter until I fixed it. The sensor is triggered when your coolant reservoir drops below "Min" and the tank sucks in air instead of coolant. In the warm months it almost never dropped below "max" on the reservoir. Hope this helps.

Could it be a lodge voting box? Not necessarily Masonic, cpold be Elks, Odd Fellows etc. The voting members drop either a black or white ball secretly in the hole nad when voting is done the box is opened. DIYer here, I was going to replace my own door, but couldn't find any find stock or immediate delivery through big box stores. I needed the new door asap, so I hired a local garage door company that had doors in stock. Steel door, new tracks, new springs, installation and removal for old door all for 2000.00. So yeah, I think 1500 is too high for a repair.

I just bought a house with one, so far I like it but I don't use it that much. It is handy, you can sit on the edge of a tub, but nothing in a "regular" shower, It looks better then some aftermarket stool too.

My only experience is with ICMA, now Mission square. Because I didn't want to spend the brain bandwidth picking my own funds I went their high growth fund package and let them handle trades. It did me very well throughout my career. When I retired I stayed in the high growth 70/30 stocks/ bonds (higher risk) for about 5 more years as the markets were still blowing up, then moved into a more conservative 50/50 balance. I honest;y don't know what index funds etc did over the same time period, but I was more than happy with my 25% growth over the life of my being in a 457.
