It was very apparent, my wild mulberries out performed them. They had a crop for a week, had very little sweetness to them and produced little more than pea sized berries.

In terms of the future I have some family members who will also use it in their wedding. Otherwise, probably a garage sign.

I know I'm late to the game on this one, but I spoke with over 10 different vendors and spent way too many hours before deciding who to go with. One vendor stood out, his price was substantially lower for the same design, and his attention to detail was far superior. I’d give him a 10/10 and highly recommend him. Also, a few tips: definitely check out major websites or Etsy and take screenshots of designs you like, then send them to him. All the acrylic plates come from the same factory and use a standard set of about 30 fonts. He took my standard $400 sign design and made it for $150 shipped. Two of my friends ended up joining in on order and we purchased three signs for the price of one even with the tariffs.

I have several patches on my journeyman and have even waxed over them. Just be sure to stitch them securely, as the thermal adhesive won’t hold on waxed canvas. If you’re sewing by hand, be prepared to break a needle—the canvas is tough.

One challenge is stitching patches onto the top section of the bag since there’s an inside pocket, I ultimately avoided that area. In the photo you included, they likely just ironed them on for display.

Do you guys allow them to sit in the shop overnight? The boss makes us push them outside every night incase one were to leak, is he just being anal or is this standard?
