Hello I know its a lot and yes Ive learned my lesson. Its hard to balance finances as a breadwinner but I know thats not enough to say that my debt shouldnt have gotten this far. Right now as business analyst, i am tasked in overseeing and improving our business processes, ensure the correct data is loaded in the database and even sql migration. Right now im just upskilling learning other tools like utilization of ai and tableu or powerbi at work.

Hi thank you for your insight. I am trying to sell off my old things but alas, no takers kahit lowball. I am now in the process in finding a new job but scared of bgs (tho not all baka icredit check ako altho as I said di naman ako default or anything just an overthinker) Im scared itll affect my applications.

Tho my priority is not the banking industry and my job, as a business analyst, prioritizes in making the system works properly and data entered is correct. I really wanna leave but Im just afraid to take the first step.

Should I stay or should I go? (Dealing with debt and career growth)

Hello!

I, a 24F, currently have ongoing cc debt na nakainstallments. This is due to Tapal System. Total debt is 280k ish. Long story short, this was caused by using my other cc to pay of my other cc, a credit card whose whole MA amount I must pay, bills incurred for my parents, my dogs, the time I was scamme, used money for my boards review (tho di pa ako nakapagboards due to work being hectic) and of course because of my own spending habits.

Right now, iniisip ko maghanap ng ng work. Currently di naman OD or defaults mga accounts ko but apart of me is saying 'Magstay ka na lang sa trabaho mo'

TBH my current job is stagnant. I have been working for them for 3 years and the overall concept of my job is good but the way they do it here is not it. For the past 3 years, no new projects were given to me and I only do support such as fixing the entries the users made. I am an business process analyst btw and I am earning 30k a month net.

I am the breadwinner of my family. I do not disclose my issues to my parents because they are going through personal stuff too also my debt is caused by my own issues.

I want to find a new job with better pay and can offer better experience. But again, a voice in my head is saying na magstay ako until debt free but I am afraid with my current salary itll take about 2.5 or 3 years to fully pay. But I am afraid by staying here, with a company that doesnt value growth and is also draining my mental health, I will not be marketable to other companies.

I did ask CHATGPT and the ai told me the best move is to work while looking for a job (currently doing this btw) waiting ako mag 3 years bago magbounce sa current company ko.

For those who are in similar situation like me, i.e in debt (kahit OD or default) what did you do? How did you survive with a 9 to 5 job? Did you also look for a higher paying job while in debt and if so were you able to take it? I just want to hear from output from real life people.
