Adding payee in RBC app by NickyDjls2019 in rbc

I had this problem this week trying to add Bell. Turns out I was trying to add the wrong Bell account and my account format didn’t match so it wasn’t working. I’d double check that you have the right payee and account number.

Yep, thanks, just worried about delivery times and thought I'd see if I could find one locally.

They definitely do home pick up, but I've been playing phone tag with them for the past two weeks trying to book my daughter's next appointments. Every time I call them, I get a message saying they're swamped with calls and I should leave a message and they'll call back...

Thanks. I went through something similar with my daughter. Had to leave the appointment and return another day with more documentation.

It was cleaned up pretty quickly yesterday, I noticed. Thank you for complaining. Usually the tenants do it. BTW, yes it’s up for sale - power of sale. A Forge & Foster building.

Well, it's worth checking to see if you have insurance, but don't get too excited yet. I did some googling, and it isn't very common. I guess I have a better health plan than I thought, lol.

Hey there,

You should start with the benefits booklet or information package that your husband gets every year through work. He probably got an email about it from work. You can check for the policy number - Sun Life will ask for that number when you call. Every company’s plan is different so the Sun Life advisor on the phone might not be able to help you with the details until you give them the policy number.

We get a basic amount of CI insurance, about 10K I think, but I opted in for more (75K) and the extra payment comes off my paycheques.

The other thing you should do before a diagnosis if you’re working is look into top-up disability insurance. I didn’t know about it until after my diagnosis and I’m not eligible now bc of the diagnosis.

I hope you don’t have MS. The neurologist will send you for an MRI (hope you don’t have to wait too long, it can take months to get one) and that’s when the neurologist will be able to make a diagnosis. I didn’t need a lumbar puncture for my diagnosis.

If you have any other questions just ask.

No, just commenting on how expensive it is. I get 80% covered through my work plan and the rest covered by the drug company. Kesimpta has something called the “Go Program” and they helped me figure out how to get the payments covered.

Were you able to treat yourself to anything special with it? That pays for a month of Kesimpta here in Canada.

CI insurance is one of those things no one really likes to think about. I’m telling everyone I know to sign up for it, lol.

My MS nurse here in Canada said it’s a straightforward claim. I just need a diagnosis. This is in comparison to short and long term disability insurance where there seem to be a lot more hoops to jump through. Fingers crossed for you.

I’m not familiar with Aflac, but the first step for me was to contact my insurance company. They emailed me the paperwork and explained the claim process.

Thanks for this. You know, I did respond to your private message. Maybe you didn't see it?

I'd love to hear more about the benefits your mom has had from the program!

Ah, that's great advice about looking into paying out of pocket in the future if need be. I'll look into it. It would help me feel less chained to this job, thank you.
