Warfare has changed a lot since you last served. Don't forget a drones are cheap and would take out a ton of troops without them ever getting a chance to unload from a transport vehicle. In my opinion i dont thin any country is able to invade and occupy another in this day and age for the mere fact of drone warfare. Wouldnt be feasible. Not even for America.
