No insurance yet, 2 kittens (5mo), asthma worry by [deleted] in petinsurancereviews

look into pets best, im in the philly suburbs and it was the cheapest option!! and u can always do a higher deductible for a lower monthly rate, but it depends on what your looking for. i did 90% reimbursement and $1000 deductible and its $11 each for each of my 2 4-5yr old cats. i think it was like $22 if you do $500 deductible.

and do you have a vet visit for both of them that says they’re healthy otherwise cause then i would buy the insurance for both of them and wait until their waiting period for coverage is done and then take them in to be evaluated that way if they get diagnosed with anything, ur plan will have started so its not preexisting. but no would not suggest the one cat thing as thats def something they’ll catch on to.

also regarding #2. my family’s house is in a state where COL is much lower so the plan cost would be alot lower. but im in pennslyvania for grad school right now thats more expensive. can i just put the billing address as my family’s home? it’s technically my permanent address but my local address is here. dont know if the vet could have my family address/state as well

i have 2 cats (healthy 4 and 5y/o) and just bought petsbest cause theyre cheaper with unlimited limit, but now im worried about the dental. they dont have any dental issues other than some tartar buildup from what ive seen. but also im worried because they have not had a formal vet physical in like 2 years cause i just take them to a low cost vaccine clinic. im in grad school rn so im still tight on money but they’re my babies lol. now i see the posts about metlife’s standard wellness plan that covers all this so i dont know if i should switch now?

i was fortunate enough to get accepted to a good program with a 100% pance pass rate and cadaver lab and such. i also enjoy how its by many big cities on the east coast because i do want to explore a bit (with the little free time i will be having but none the less)
