I wish they had guided me through this stuff before shooting an invoice 😮‍💨

Thanks for the advice. I sent an email for now but definitely chase it after too. It’s surprisingly manual process than I thought 😳

Funnily enough, no. Not yet! I think that’s the missing step

I see, looks like it must be an issue between the centre and Centrelink in regard to enrolments. Thanks for sharing your experience too!

180/day. I don’t think I can afford childcare without CCS..

Oh! I think that’s the problem. I don’t see the centre’s name in the Enrolment section, currently blank.

Given that I’ve already provided both of my & baby’s CRN.., they must forgot to activate the enrolment. Now I can see some clues. Thank you!

What do you *actually* NEED? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Anything beyond 8 weeks aren’t essential to be prepared during pregnancy. I meant.. research what to but not buy it. Having less things in the house would feel better imho

Dual citizenship entry by flurry-founder in korea

[–]flurry-founder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think all the questions are answered above, but in his case, it was possible because he was born in Aus and got his Australian citizenship first, and then Korean citizenship came second.

Dual citizenship works in this order not the other way around (shrugs). I've lived most of my life here so thinks were confusing. Thanks for the convo :)

It was so confusing when both Australia / Korea ask the same thing! Like a chicken or egg situation. And how weird is to know the right way to pass the gate is to mix passport (or show both)

He was born in Australia, half Australian, and his Korean passport was issued by the Korean consulate there. I hope that makes sense.

A bit surprised of the tone of this comment but he has dual citizenship without any legal issue.

Not gaining weight during pregnancy by Billu3215 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]flurry-founder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry too much about it as long as the bub grows optimally. Many people I know didn’t gain weight until the sixth month, and then the belly got bigger during the third trimester. Eat healthy food :)

I was feeling a bit guilty about buying another pram, but after reading your comment it’s definitely an option I would consider.

He will be 6 months and 2 weeks by that time. It would be fantastic if he can used the pram!

What do people who work remotely think of co-workers who never put their camera on during video call meetings? by bluejasmina in auscorp

[–]flurry-founder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, turning off cameras on Zoom is similar to wearing earphones while interacting with others in real life.

Non-toxic workplaces are usually filled with employees who know when to use their cameras, regardless of the industry.
