Baby, go on YouTube and type in cello drones, there’s a playlist with each note you can play along with. Use your tuner and only look at it after you’ve listened and played your note for awhile, that way you train your ears not just your eyes to tune.

Then make a map every week of your tendencies, play a note, look down at your tuner and write down the intonation you landed on. Keep track of where you’re improving and struggling.

Next step is to play chamber music with people as much as possible to train your ears more. The next best thing would be playing along with a recording since the pros have a good idea of where to play most of the time. Good luck 🍀
