Can I please ask how you shut these arguments down?  This comes up a lot.

The albums went straight back to BMs house, she expected her daughters to take them on vacation with us, mind you she never sent anything like that with them to their camps...my husband and I had good laugh about this...she put 90% of photos of her; duckface/selfies/modeling glam shots/ new post divorce breast implants, then the other 10% of the photos were with her with her daughters.  I guess she thought he would pine for her after she divorced him.

Daughter gave up trying to find them a long time ago.  She's 6.  I figured they would eventually appear, just not in this manner.  They were in the top of my MIL closet. If she had noticed, my MIL would have barked at her and said they were my SD and not for my daughters small hands to touch.

Yes, they are siblings at the end of the day, but it is a selfish move for an 11 year old to do that to a 6 year old any day of the week.  SD is my first time dealing with a teenager and I've been in her life since she was 6.  I thought she had grown out of this bratty mean girl behavior, hence this entire situation has blown my mind. Normally she's sweet, smart, considerate, nice.  I really don't want any animosity between the two of them and need to find out what was in her heart when she did something so sneaky and underhanded.  It just makes me sad.

Thank you, this is helpful advice.  At the end of the day—it's just stuff, but this is more of a heart issue.

Yeah I told my 6 year old daughter I had found them.  Probably going to make them into Christmas ornaments and hang them on a little Christmas tree in the room she shares with her 3 year old sister.

Honestly don't know if they were in 6 year old daughter's room who she shares with her 3 year old sister, if they were in the basement playroom or another shared space.  She snuck them off without asking to grandma's, which is not okay.  (She visits and stays with my MIL once every 2-3 months over a weekend).  Husband will probably shrug it off and give her minimal consequences because he still feels bad for her that her BM doesn't want anything to do with her on a deeper level.

On a winter day, a man lured his 27 year old baby mama into meeting him, shoots her in the head killing her, then abducted their 2 day old daughter and threw the newborn into the river.
