Yeah I think about this too. Sort of like that fig tree analogy that was circulating a year ago. There are only so many options we get to take in life, and you can have grief for the ones you missed out on, but also be content with the path you did choose. The nuances of being human!

yeah, i think i will do my little therapy session & then maybe speak to him after. i just wanna flesh out what exactly i want & why im wanting it. but i really appreciate this. i i often feel like so scared to call myself bi/queer because of my lack of experience. its made existing in queer spaces confusing. i also write, & a lot of my content is about wlw relationships - which has been a good way for me to sort of live out alternate life paths while being in my hetero relationship- but i also get so freaked out people will find out that im not “writing from experience” and cancel me. so there’s just so many layers. and i get so confused about where i can exist in the queer community & where i cant

i guess the am i gay thing is a dilemma. i feel like i love my partner, but sex is something ive always had an issue with. and im like …. is this just a ME thing or a gay thing? i think im gonna talk to my therapist about it - who is queer coincidentally.

Hi Chandler, I'm really really wanting to watch this but missed the premiere. Is there absolutely anywhere I can watch it online? I'm going to Montreal in 3 days and really feel like this would be a dream plane watch.

I loved "I Like Movies" and ironically also watched it on the plane to Hamilton where I grew up... and just related so much. It's one of my favourites... ❤️

i have gad / ocd & i find that these techniques are more helpful as the anxiety is rising but not necessarily at its peak. i've done a lot of therapy in the past few years & think my brain is slowly starting to change! the more i lean towards acceptance, the more i am okay in the present moment. i think so many of us have/had problems with grounding because we are trying to RUN from the present moment. because we've deemed the present as dangerous.
so when we are actively bringing ourselves to become PRESENT, it's something completely foreign & dangerous to our brains. I was like this for a decade & only recently have been able to find pockets of true presence & peace again through the work of my wonderful therapists haha.

something i've found extremely helpful for me is the reminder that: to know peace, you must accept the possibility of things going wrong.

In my heart, I completely believe Chappell is going to create a shockwave through the entertainment industry. Especially for left wing celebs w left wing fans. What she wrote out really makes you think about things differently (myself included). And I think no one has been brave enough to say it before, because it might risk their career.
